Before construction can begin on any major utility facility (including solar farms) or economically significant wind farm within the state of Ohio, a certificate of environmental compatibility and public need must be obtained from the OPSB.

Grange Solar Grazing Center is a proposed 500 MWac agrivoltaic project in Richland, Stokes, Washington, Bloomfield, and McArthur Townships in Logan County, Ohio. Grange plans to submit its application to the Ohio Power Siting Board (“OPSB”) in October of 2024 which will kick off an approximately 9 month long permitting/review process.
